Difficulty of text understanding
A little module that determines the EOF on tape is, taken out of context, neither
eloquent nor problematic. And neither is the English word "end" - that is, of course,
until someone you've never seen before stops you on a dark street corner and hands you
a crumpled piece of paper on which is scribbled "this is the end". Of the sidewalk?
Of the world? Of the man's career as a writer of dime store thrillers?
